Instant Messaging Friend or competitor of Student composing?IntroductionWith the commercial advent of the Internet and cell promises in the new-fashioned 1990s, technologies such as instant put across (IM) and text messaging (TM) agree achieved increasing prevalence in our society. These types of messaging technologies are widely utilise among adolescents today. In this article, I examine how learners physical exertion of text messaging technology, specifically IM, affects their writing skills.
